Project Grateful

This morning I went to Fort Collins to take part in a distribution of donated items to homeless or near-homeless people.

HomelessGear.com does monthly distributions like this, made possible for the generous donors who provide food, clothing, tents, toys, books, coats, and other items that we so frequently take for granted.

Many of the people who came through the distribution today have no place to live. Some live in their cars. Others move from shelter to shelter trying to survive.

I would encourage you to take part in activities that reach out to the homeless in your area. It will make you that much more grateful for the simple things, like having a roof over your head.
